1. Where will my vehicle come from?
All our cars, vans and pickups are supplied by the manufacturer’s franchised UK dealership, delivered and handed over directly by the dealer.
2. What is the warranty period?
All our new vehicles come with the full manufacturer's warranty, usually a minimum of three years/60,000 miles and often longer!
3. Is servicing included?
Servicing plans can be included with some manufacturers’ models and usually represent great value. Alternatively, we can include FULL maintenance which covers tyres, non-service items etc. This coupled with the vehicle warranty means you just need to supply the fuel and insure the vehicle for complete peace of mind!
4. Where do I go for servicing?
We normally recommend using the main dealer for servicing. Service intervals are getting longer all the time and time required in the workshop is shortening so sometimes the main dealer can be cheaper than a non-franchised garage. If there are ever any issues and you’ve had the vehicle serviced at a franchised Dealer the buck stops with them! Most franchised dealers will provide a courtesy car, some offer collection and delivery but often you’re as well to wait while your vehicle is serviced. Many funders allow you to have servicing done by a local garage, as long as it’s recorded, they use original manufacturer parts and are VAT registered.
5. Will I need breakdown cover?
Many manufacturers offer three years or more roadside assistance. Some offer one year which you can renew. The vehicle handbook pack will have full details of what to do and where to call in the event of any problems.
6. Is delivery and collection included?
We offer free UK mainland delivery, direct from the Dealer. The Funder will arrange to collect the vehicle at the end of the contract, unless you are purchasing it of course.
7. What is the upfront outlay?
Your first initial payment isn’t due until delivery time. We don’t ask people for “deposits” although some of our dealers might ask for something at time of order if you’ve ordered a lot of extras or an unusual specification. This is rare though.
8. What about insurance?
You just arrange your own fully comprehensive insurance, either through your existing insurer or broker or we can recommend companies to contact for quotes..
9. What if I exceed the agreed mileage on the contract?
Any mileage over the contract is charged at the excess mileage rate charged in pence per mile. As an example, if the excess was 5p. per mile then for 1000 miles over contract mileage you would be charged £50. However, if you realise early on in the contract you might be over, you can call the Funder and ask them to adjust your contract mileage to a more realistic figure and avoid having to pay the excess at the end.
10. What happens if I want to end the agreement early?
You can request an early termination / settlement quotation either via our office or direct from the Funder.
